What is GivingTuesday?
"We have a day for
giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. This year help us create GivingTuesday. A new day for giving back. On Tuesday December 3, 2013,
global charities, families, businesses, community centers, students and
more will come together to create GivingTuesday.
It’s a simple idea.
Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your
organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone
you can about how you are giving. Be a part of a national celebration
of our great tradition of generosity."
At Etsy Maine Team we collected a list of items from members shops that either donate money to or raise awareness of a cause - this is a work in progress and we will add more items as we become aware of them.

children. This year they have given to The Maine Children's Home, The
Children's Discovery Museum, La Leche League, our local library, our
local food cupboard, and the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, to name
just a few!

October was Hope and Justice Project, November was her fancy new Roller Derby League, and this month she's donating to a local woman who wants to get her dog sled team ready for the Can-Am sled race in March!
