Hey everyone! I just wanted to post a bit more info about the opportunity to display your work at the new Center for Maine Craft opening in Gardiner this November.
The Maine Crafts Association's new Center for Maine Craft is recruiting Maine artists interested in exhibiting their craft at the new Center. Fellow Maine Team Member JesseJanes/FuzzyBunnyKnits has already joined the ranks of the artists that will be displayed at the Center and there is one more jury session coming up next month, so if you're interested don't delay. You don't have to be a member of the Maine Craft Association to submit your work. Contact the Maine Crafts Association to set up a time during the next jury session coming up on August 8th:
August 8

University of Maine Augusta

- $10 jury fee for general MCA members
- NO jury fee for professional MCA members
General info from MCA about the center:
"The Center for Maine Craft is a 2500 square foot retail, exhibition, education, and tourism space for Maine Craft being built by the Maine Turnpike Authority at the new West Gardiner Travel Plaza on the Turnpike and Interstate. The Maine Crafts Association, a non-profit arts organization promoting Maine Craft for over 25 years has a lease to operate the Center. It will open in November of 2008. "
